One of the advantages of our wooden houses is low energy consumption. The high thickness of thermal insulation in the walls of our wooden houses allows us to achieve a reduction in consumption that was unthinkable until recently. <\/p>

We make our wooden houses by means of solid glued laminated timber panels(X<\/strong> Lam).<\/p>

The wooden panels are about 10 cm thick and are coated on the outside with 20 cm thick compact mineral wool.<\/p>

Internally, the wooden wall is covered by a counterwall insulated with an additional 5 cm of mineral wool.<\/p>

The roof of buildings contributes at least 50% of the total energy loss. For this reason, our roofs are extensively insulated; in fact, we use 20 cm of high-density mineral wool, and to prevent heat buildup in summer and mold growth in winter, the roof is also equipped with natural undertile ventilation. <\/p>

Energy Savings<\/strong>: 90% higher thermal insulation than the average Italian house (140 kWh\/sqm\/year), amounting to 1,400 kWh per year for a 100-sqm unit.<\/p>

Self-sufficiency<\/strong>: roof-integrated photovoltaic and solar thermal systems produce more than 3,300 kWh\/year, more than double the requirement.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our wooden houses achieve insulation levels typical of passive houses, below 14 kWh\/sqm\/year<\/strong>, thus enabling comfortable living by requiring only minimal energy input for winter heating or summer cooling.<\/strong> In fact by taking advantage of only the free heat inputs from the sun, the people living in them, and the appliances being used these houses could heat even without energy input. <\/p>

However, the heat pump serves mainly to replace the waste heat in the ventilation of houses, which , however, is minimized by the energy recuperator in the central mechanical ventilation system.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Wood is ideal for seismic resistance because of its exceptional weight-to-strength ratio.<\/span><\/p>

Seismic response:<\/strong> Our houses have a seismic response 4 times higher than Italian regulations. <\/span><\/p>

X Lam panels:<\/strong> Durable with crossed fibers, resist vertical loads (gravity) and horizontal loads (seismic forces).<\/span><\/p>

Lightness:<\/strong> X Lam panels are about 3 times lighter than traditional masonry, reducing seismic force. The natural resilience of wood, developed over millions of years, is now used in our wooden houses. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

In our wooden houses, we have minimized the use of difficult-to-recycle elements derived from petroleum.<\/p>

We know how difficult it is to get rid of plastic. In our cities much of our garbage is plastic, the recycling of which is complex. <\/p>
